what a wonderful, magical evening!

last night, imogene + willie was so pleased to host two amazing talents to our backyard to kick off our 2012 supper + song season. Karen Elson and Kate Tucker were the musical guests for the first installment in our seven-part concert series. this year, supper + songs will be held on the third Wednesday of every month from April through October.

somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 members of our family, friends and neighbors (three designations that aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive) turned up to enjoy our visiting chanteuses and Mexican snacks from Mas Tacos. folks BYOB’d – taking liberties to translate that last B as standing for beer, blankets and babies (the older kids turned Karen’s set into an adorable impromptu dance party!) – and gave thanks for the balmy, breezy weather.

overall, it was a glorious night, full of love and laughter. thanks so much to everyone who made the inaugural s+s of 2012 such a wonderful success, especially Kate and Karen and her band. the imogene + willie crew thanks you all from the bottom of our hearts.
