With Bonnaroo going on to our east and the CMA Music Festival sprawling downtown, Nashville is more than earning its nickname of Music City this week. Of course, imogene + willie is doing our part.

Next Thursday, we’re hosting a very special installment of our backyard supper + song concert series. The current musical lineup includes William Tyler and Kopecky Family Band with other special guests to be announced later this week. In addition to the tunes, we’ll also have drinks and snacks on hand courtesy of some of our favorite Nashville restaurants: Holland House, Barista Parlor, and Yazoo Brewery. Whether you’re heading to Manchester or Lower Broadway this weekend or staying home next to the AC, we hope you’ll join us at our second-annual “send-off” party.

To get everyone pumped about the event, this week’s Our Voice features photos taken at the 2011 send-off we threw with our friend Billy Reid. That party featured stand-out performances by Justin Townes Earle, the Apache Relay, Deer Tick, and special guest Dan Auerbach. This year promises to be just as spectacular. See you on Thursday!
